What was the highlight of Hôtel Le Mas del Pechs

Lovely hotel run by a very helpful manager/owner.

Excellent room on ground floor with a patio. Swimming pool in lovely garden. The location is only a kilometre or so from the medieval part of town but it’s a steep walk down. Although it only takes 15 mins, it may be too much for some people. Free parking at the hotel but very expensive in town. We would have stayed longer if the weather had been better.

spotlessly clean, very comfy bed in a good sized room, nice ad quiet despite being pretty busy.. Good location on the edge of the city . Very good breakfast in the lovely dining room. Hope to stay again soon

The perfect place to stay and one to return to!

A beautifully cared for hotel where the guests are equally well looked after by welcoming and friendly hosts. The pool was beautiful to swim in, very clean with plenty of space for guests to relax. Breakfasts were self service and amazing. It is an oasis of calm. Easy to reach Sarlat on foot or by car.

Wonderful

This hotel is in a super-quiet location, outside of town, but walkable to the medieval city of Sarlat. They serve a good Continental breakfast of pastries, yogurt, fruit, bread, high-quality tea, and coffee. It's dog-friendly and all of the rooms open up to a grassy area, making it easy to take dogs out first thing in the morning and last thing at night. There's also a patio area for drinking wine and relaxing outdoors in nice weather. Shower design was excellent, and bed was comfortable. Coffee and tea-making equipment is in the room. We greatly enjoyed our stay.

if available, this is where you should stay!

Location is great. The bed is really comfortable. Wifi strong. Shower has good water pressure and good size. A/C makes room very comfortable. Grounds beautiful. But, the most outstanding is the staff. I never got her name but the hostess is the most accommodating hotel person I think I've ever encountered. And the breakfast is a very good value.

Thoroughly enjoyed it

Breakfast was very.good

Being an older couple we had forgotten just how steep the wallk down into Sarlat was and we struggled a bit coming back up Not the property's fault as location on Les Hauts was what we requested!Next time though we will take a taxi back up!!!!

Relaxed with no stresses for anything

Quiet rooms. Swimming pool terrace adjacent. Lovely quiet garden setting. Only 5 mins drive to centre of Sarlat for wide choice of restaurants at reasonable prices. Breakfast was extra but set us up for the day.

Needed Google Maps as a bit complicated to navigate. No problem after first time. The room terraces would be super in the Summer as they get the evening sun. In October the sun is too far to the South but the swimming pool terrace was a good replacement

Everything went well, easy check-in, nice room, great for sleeping because nice and quiet. Easy access to Sarlat city center. Setting was pretty and good breakfasts.

Wonderful

It was super clean and modern. The room was very well designed, with a built-in long mirror, lots of shelves and hooks. The bed was big and very comfortable. The shower was big and worked well, and there were coffee and tea making facilities in the room and also a hair dryer. The air conditioner was of very good quality, with a silent mode option.

No door handle, which made it very difficult to open and close without being uncomfortable. There was only one coffee sachet in the room. The shower wash was empty.

Perfect peaceful four nights.

The hotel was perfectly situated in a quiet residential area above Sarlat but only 5 minutes drive down to the town. Clean, modern, lovely pool and garden. Delicious breakfast every day and very helpful friendly owner. Easy parking too. Perfect.

For me I would have liked an English news channel on the TV but there was no need to provide that. Very necessary to have a car for the trip to town as about 30 mins walk back up to the hotel after dinner on an unlit road.

Exceptional

Well located hotel, clean and comfortable with A/C, which we appreciated as it was very hot. Swimming pool area was very good with a 15 mtr. pool. Anne Marie was a great host giving us advice on where to eat and generally helping us and making us feel very welcome. Highly recommended.

A great hotel to stay at for a short break or as a stop off point if travelling through the Dordogne

We stayed here as a break from our holiday in Issiegeac as we wanted to visit some of the local chateaus.. The weather was extremely hot, so it was lovely to arrive to a friendly welcome. Our room was clean with silent air conditioning and electric shutters. We slept better than we had all holiday! The hotel was quiet with a fabulous pool that we had to ourselves. Breakfast was a light continental was served until 10 am. We would definitely stay there again.

Although the town was only a 10 minute walk down hill, it was actually up to a 25 min walk up hill on the way back. We couldn't face that in the 35 + heat.
